Magicka is an action-adventure satire set in a rich fantasy world that is inspired by Norse mythology. The player assumes the role of a wizard from a holy order with the mission of stopping an evil sorcerer who has plunged the world into chaos, as well as stopping the siege that his vile creations exert on the forces of good.
Players will be able to combine the elements to cast spells, wreaking havoc and devastation among the minions of darkness. They will also have the opportunity to team up with friends and fight their way through the campaign, or put their magical arts skills to the test through other challenge modes.
In Magicka, up to four players go on a grand adventure to save the world from doom with a fully dynamic spell system. Adventure mode will take players through three different levels, ranging from the lush forests of the valleys to the icy halls of the mountain king, where ingenuity and creativity are the keys to victory.
In unlockable challenge mode, players battle waves of enemies to earn a place on the local and online leaderboards.
